NO SMOKING, TOBACCO, ALCOHOL, ILLEGAL DRUGS, or PETS ALLOWED: You and any guests are not permitted to smoke, chew tobacco, or to use or have tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drugs anywhere on the premises. No animals, other than Seeing Eye dogs for the blind, are permitted. You are responsible for your guests’ adherence to this policy.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR APARTMENT: You must maintain the rented premises in a clean and orderly condition, shall properly dispose of garbage and use appliances, electrical features, and plumbing facilities properly. You may not install outdoor radio or television antenna of any kind; post any signs or advertising material at any location; drive nails or screws into the walls, doors, cabinets, brick, or woodwork of the rented premises; or paint any part of the property. If you receive permission to place small nails in walls, you agree to patch and fix walls as needed before vacating premises. You are responsible for the cost of cleaning and repairs beyond normal wear and tear. Notify management of any needed repairs as soon as possible. Don’t lose your key—a $50.00 fee is charged to replace it.

USE UTILITIES WISELY: Please be reasonable in your usage of utilities. Tenants can be charged for excessive use, especially if windows are open and the heat or air conditioning is on. Do not let water overflow.

GUESTS: You are responsible for the conduct of your guests. Only tenants living in the apartment are permitted into the back hallway and bedroom areas of the apartment. No sexual relations are permitted on the premises. Overnight guests are not permitted unless permission is obtained in advance from management.

INTERNET USAGE/PORNOGRAPHY: You shall not use the Collegiate Inn internet access for illegal downloads nor for viewing of sexually explicit or pornographic material. Pornographic materials of any kind are prohibited on the premises.

MAINTAINING THE FIRE ALARM IS REQUIRED: If tampering is found, severe penalty or eviction may occur.

QUIET TIME IS FROM 10:00 PM TOO 8:00 AM: You may not to play any musical instrument, radio, television or other similar equipment loud enough to be heard by other tenants during the hours after 10:00 pm or before 8:00 am.

ROOMMATES: You are responsible for cooperation with all roommates.

PERSONAL PROPERTY/AUTOMOBILES: You are responsible for insuring your own property. Waterbeds are not permitted. You must register your automobile with management and obtain a parking sticker. No inoperable vehicles are permitted on the property, and no car repairs (including maintenance such as washing and changing the oil) are allowed.
